List of Virtual Ekklesias

Listed below are a number of virtual ekklesia options. Each has a unique emphasis and are open to all who would like to “gather” to study the Scriptures.

Click on any of the blue highlighted links or buttons in this post and they will direct you into the portal. When you’re inside the portal, you’ll find a description of each gathering, a countdown clock that will tell you the day and time of the virtual gathering and some instructions on how to join.

The Church Gathered in New Ways

We have a new vocabulary …

“social distancing”
“flatten the curve”
“shelter in place”

… BUT in the midst of all of the changes and uncertainty, the Lord Jesus, all of His promises and the Word of God remain the same!

In order to remind ourselves of all of these promises, I thought it might be good for us to “meet” through a number of different virtual ekklesias (Greek word for the “gatherings” which referred to the New Testament Church).

Tekklesia Teens

(Fridays at 7 pm)

This virtual gathering meets weekly for a time of study centered around “The Receptive Life” material.

Women’s Study

(hosted and led by Elise Arndt)

(Tuesdays at 7 pm EST)

This group of women meets on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm to study the Scriptures and for prayer and encouragement.

It is hosted and led by Elise Arndt.

Arndt Home Ekklesia

(Wednesdays at 7 pm EST)

This virtual gathering meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm for a structured time of worship, prayer, confession and absolution, the reading and study of God’s Word. This gathering is probably best described as a “house church” (but, for now, it’s a virtual Church).

It is hosted by Warren and Elise Arndt and led by Pastor Paul Arndt.

Study Ekklesia

(Thursdays at 7 pm)

This virtual gathering meets on scheduled Thursdays at 7 pm to study and pray through the Scriptures. We search the Scriptures looking for Jesus and His promise of the forgiveness of sins.

This gathering is also a place for individuals to ask questions about the Christian faith. This group is open to all. It is hosted by Mabyn and Charles and led by Pastor Paul Arndt.

Much joy and peace in Jesus,

Paul
