Some Devotional Readings for Holy Week

A blessed and sacred Holy Week to you.

The call of the 40 day season of Lent is to “fix our eyes on Jesus” and “consider Him” so that we might repent of our sins and receive all the gifts that only the Triune God can give. (Hebrews 12:1-3)

In order to help you “consider Him” during this Holy Week, I’d like to offer you a few devotional readings that I wrote a number of years ago.

Each has … a selected Gospel reading, a brief meditation, a prayer, and a few questions for reflection.

The words aren’t perfect. Neither are the thoughts behind them. Together, though, they just might be a means by which the Holy Spirit may choose to reveal the person and work of Jesus.

Here are the devotionals …

I have also created a private community platform so that you can ask your questions, comment, or connect with others. If you haven’t yet joined the private Lutheran Spirituality community you can sign up here …

If you’re already a member of the community, please feel free to add your thoughts or comments to any of the posts in the “home”, “getting started”, or “hello” tabs in the sidebar.

May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and minds in Jesus. (Philippians 4)

Come what may, we do belong to Jesus!

Paul
